Madison Prattini is a New Orleans native and dedicated arts administrator and musician. She recently earned her Master of Music in Performance with a specialization in clarinet from Northwestern State University in May 2024 and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. and a nonprofit certificate at the University of Southern Mississippi, expected to graduate in May 2026.
Throughout her academic journey, Madison showcased her musical versatility as principal clarinet in various ensembles and as a multi-instrumentalist in jazz ensembles, performing on tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, flute, and clarinet. Her dedication extended to chamber music, where she actively participated in clarinet quartets, trios, and woodwind choirs. She also demonstrated leadership as Drum Major for the Louisiana Tech Band of Pride and as a graduate assistant at Northwestern State.
Madison’s passion for the arts goes beyond performance—she is deeply committed to arts administration and nonprofit work. She currently serves as a Title IX Graduate Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she contributes to social media coordination and event planning. She is also actively involved in performing with university ensembles.
Her professional experience includes working as an Artist Liaison at the Aspen Music Festival and School in the summer of 2024, and she will return in the summer of 2025 as an Operations Assistant. Madison aspires to use her business and nonprofit expertise to support arts organizations and create programs that provide music education opportunities for financially disadvantaged youth.
She graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University in 2022 with an honors degree and maintained a 4.0 GPA in her master’s program. Currently based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she looks forward to continuing her work in arts administration while performing and advocating for accessible arts education. She shares her home with her beloved cat, Milo.
